About the instructor

Dr. Maged Ossama

Clinical and Sports Nutrition Specialist

Dr. Maged Ossama is the head of the clinical nutrition department at the General Navy Military Hospital since 2016. In 2018, he joined the AlexKnee Center team as
their Nutrition Specialist. He has been graduated from the Faculty of Medicine,
Alexandria University in 2012. After that, he got his Master's Degree in public health majoring in nutrition from the High Institute of Public Health in 2017. As a
physician and a former athlete, he knows how much nutrition is important for both health and athletic performance. Studying the dietary supplements and
the possibility of contamination and their impact on health and performance is his area of interest

Objectives of Principles of Sports Nutrition Course

Dietary and physique assessment methods, pre and post-exercise meal components adding to
dietary supplements are highly important in sports nutrition, that is why they will be discussed
in detail in this course.
