Seham Ahmed

Instructor

Electrical engineer specializing in power engineering. She earned her Bachelor of Engineering degree from Pyramids Higher Institute of Engineering and Technology (PHI) in 2019 and her Master of Science degree in Power Systems from the Faculty of Engineering at Benha University in 2025. Saham has professional experience in technical engineering fields, including bid and tender engineering, business development engineering for solar energy projects, and technical sales engineering. She currently works as a teaching assistant at MUST University, where she teaches courses such as logic circuits, measurement, and control of power systems. Her technical skills include AutoCAD, PVsyst, PLC programming, and solar energy system design, as well as experience in programming languages such as C++ and C, Arduino, and ladder logic.

Objectives of Electrical Engineering Course - Level 1

This course introduces the fundamental principles of solar energy systems and their applications in electrical power generation. It covers the basic concepts of solar radiation, photovoltaic (PV) technology, and the main components of solar power systems such as solar panels, inverters, batteries, and controllers. The course also explains system design, performance analysis, and installation methods for on-grid and off-grid solar systems. By the end of the course, students will be able to understand the operation of solar energy systems, analyze their efficiency, and apply basic design principles for practical solar power applications.
