Objectives of PV Essentials Course

Level 1 covers Chapters 1 and 2 of the Mastering PV Training Program. It introduces the fundamentals of solar photovoltaic systems, solar radiation concepts, PV system types, power quality, and DC/AC electrical principles. Participants will study PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, cable sizing, earthing, protection systems, and key design factors used in commercial and industrial PV projects. The course builds a solid technical foundation for advanced PV design.

You Will Learn

You will learn the principles of solar photovoltaic systems and the different PV system configurations. You will understand solar irradiance, PV module technologies, inverter selection, protection systems, cable sizing, earthing, and design considerations. The training develops your ability to evaluate PV equipment and understand the engineering basis of PV system design. You will also gain practical knowledge of industry terminology and standards.
