PV Design Expert Course

Level 2 covers Chapter 3 of the Mastering PV Training Program and focuses on the complete engineering workflow of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) photovoltaic projects. Participants learn the full project lifecycle, including design, construction, commissioning, site survey requirements, technical documentation, and engineering deliverables.

The course provides practical training on industry-standard software such as PVsyst, SketchUp, and AutoCAD for simulation, shading analysis, layouts, and single-line diagrams. It also covers Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), including sizing methodologies, AC-coupled configurations, degradation analysis, augmentation planning, and real project applications.

In addition, participants will learn solar pumping system design, equipment selection, inverter and PV sizing, grid-connected C&I system design workflows, performance ratio analysis, DC/AC ratio optimization, and project execution procedures including FAT, SAT, and system energization. The program concludes with ROI, LCOE, financial feasibility studies, and PV-Diesel Hybrid system design based on real engineering projects and field experience.

You will learn how to design grid-connected C&I solar systems using professional engineering workflows. You will develop skills in BESS sizing, solar pumping design, project development phases, and financial evaluation using ROI and LCOE methods. The course also covers design software applications and practical project implementation techniques. You will gain the capability to prepare complete PV design packages.
