About Instructor

 

  • He is a Lecturer of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Ain-Shams University, since 2016.
  • His doctoral dissertation was in Colorectal Surgery. He is a member of the Egyptian Society of Surgeons, a member of the Royal College of Surgeons - England, and a Member of the American College of Surgeons. 
  • He also holds a diploma in laparoscopic surgery from the University of Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France.
  • He is a Consultant of General Surgery in many private hospitals in Cairo.
  • He is the Deputy Manager of the Accident and Emergency Unit of Ain-Shams University Specialized Hospital (ASUSH), since 2018. 
  • He was the clinical coordinator and a surgeon in the Liver Transplantation Center in Egypt-Air Hospital and Ain- Shams Center of Transplantation (ASCOT).

  • In the field of health education and community service, he participated, organized, and led over 10 volunteering health campaigns over the last 15 years.
  • He used to be the Deputy manager of the eLearning Center, Faculty of Medicine, ASU.
  • Being interested in the field of trauma care, he was certified by the American College of Surgeons to be an ATLS® provider, and he is now an ATLS® Instructor, since 2017.
  • He was a member of the Emergency and Disaster Management Committee of Ain-Shams University Hospitals.
  • He completed the BLS course and the University of Maryland Sequential Trauma Education Programs course
  • (STEPs).

He attended overseas training programs like;

  • Injury and trauma research methodology and epidemiology, in University of Maryland Baltimore, in Baltimore, MD, USA;
  • Laparoscopic UGIT Surgery, in Cuschieri Skills Center, Dundee, Scotland, UK.
  • Laparoscopic Surgery training in the IRCAD, Strasbourg, France.
  • Colorectal Surgery, KHCC, Amman, Jourdan.
