- He is a Lecturer of General Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Ain-Shams University, since 2016.
- His doctoral dissertation was in Colorectal Surgery. He is a member of the Egyptian Society of Surgeons, a member of the Royal College of Surgeons - England, and a Member of the American College of Surgeons.
- He also holds a diploma in laparoscopic surgery from the University of Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France.
- He is a Consultant of General Surgery in many private hospitals in Cairo.
- He is the Deputy Manager of the Accident and Emergency Unit of Ain-Shams University Specialized Hospital (ASUSH), since 2018.
- He was the clinical coordinator and a surgeon in the Liver Transplantation Center in Egypt-Air Hospital and Ain- Shams Center of Transplantation (ASCOT).

- In the field of health education and community service, he participated, organized, and led over 10 volunteering health campaigns over the last 15 years.
- He used to be the Deputy manager of the eLearning Center, Faculty of Medicine, ASU.
